What does an AI front desk cost, and what should it include?

The published market is $199 to $999 a month depending on how much of the front desk it covers. Ours starts lower because it does one job.

What the market publishes

We read the pricing pages of more than forty tools in October 2026. For clinics, published prices start at $199 a month for a messaging platform and run to $600, with online booking typically $200 to $350 more. For home services, the closest tools to this one publish $399 to $999. For property managers, leasing tools publish $1 to $3 per door with minimums around $199 to $300.

A good number of them do not publish a price at all, which is itself worth knowing before you book a demo.

The six things worth insisting on

Answers that come only from your own content, and a way to see what it read. An emergency path that runs before anything else. A log of every conversation, including the ones it refused. A limit on what it will say, enforced in code rather than in a prompt. The price, visible, before you talk to anyone. And a way out that does not involve a year.

What to ask for in a demo

Ask what it does when it does not know. If the answer is anything other than "it says so and tells a human", keep looking.

Ask to see a refused answer. Any assistant worth buying refuses things, and any vendor worth buying from can show you one.

Try it rather than take our word for it

Paste your own web address. You get a working assistant trained on your own pages in about two minutes, free, and you can ask it the awkward questions yourself.

We read the public pages of the address you give us, we obey your robots.txt, and we email you the link. Three a day per visitor. No card, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
