GraySpark vs Podium
Messaging, reviews and an AI assistant for local businesses. Podium does not publish a price for its AI features — it quotes — their pricing page.
Side by side
| The job | Podium | GraySpark |
|---|---|---|
| Texting customers, and reviews | Yes — Podium publishes both | No texting yet. We do not sell it before carrier registration |
| An AI assistant | Yes — Podium publishes one, priced on enquiry | Yes, and the price is on this page |
| Replying to a web form in under a minute | Not published as a specific commitment | Yes — the enquirer gets an answer from your own pages, and you get the lead |
| Chasing an unanswered estimate | Not published as a specific feature | Day 1, day 3, day 7, and it stops the moment they reply |
| Quoting a price to a caller | Not published either way | Never. It books the estimate and you give the figure — enforced in our code, not asked for in a prompt |
| Seeing what it costs before a sales call | Pricing for the AI add-on is on enquiry | On this page, and you can start without talking to us |
Where Podium is the better answer
Podium is a much broader product and a much bigger company. If you want one platform for texting, reviews and payments, it is a reasonable choice. We do one job: answering the enquiries that arrive when nobody is free to pick up.
We would rather tell you that now than have you cancel in a month. There is no contract either way.
Questions
Is this comparison up to date?
It was checked in October 2026 against Podium’s own published pages. Vendors change their products and their pricing; if something here is wrong, email andy@grayspark.ai and we will correct it.
Why are some rows "not published" rather than "no"?
Because we only state what a vendor publishes about itself. Several comparison articles online will tell you confidently what Podium does not do, and their source is usually another vendor. "Not published on its pricing page" is what we can actually verify, and you can check it in one click.
